The following instructions are for Microsoft Outlook Express version 6.0.
To configure your Microsoft Outlook Express client:
- On the Tools menu, select Accounts to display the Internet Accounts window.

- Open the properties window for the appropriate email account.

- Click on the ADVANCED tab at the top of the properties window.
- Check the box under the DELIVERY heading that says Leave a copy of messages on the server

- Check the box that states Remove from server after 5 days. Be sure that 5 is the number of days listed.
- Click OK to save your settings.
